How Your Snapchat Score Works
Your Snapchat Score is a special number that reflects your overall activity on the platform. It appears beneath your username on your profile and increases every time you send or receive Snaps.
Sending a Snap increases your score by one point. Receiving a Snap also adds to your score. Stories, however, do not count. Bonus points are occasionally awarded when you return to the app after a period of inactivity.
You can view your own score by tapping your Bitmoji in the top-left corner of the Camera screen. To see a friend's score, open their profile from your chat list or by searching their username.
A high score signals an active, long-term user. Scores can range from a few hundred to several million for power users. The score does not affect any features — it is purely a social metric.
